Altus Product Help Plugin (BETA)

Product Help is a new onboarding and guidance experience. It encompasses several features:

  • Interactive Guidance
  • Help Centre
  • Welcoming Messaging

Cloud Services Setting

Access to this service is managed through the Cloud Services configuration setting found in the Security section.

  • Enable Product Help: This setting allows an Altus administrator to disable the Product Help services. This includes the interactive guidance, help centre and welcoming messages. It is enabled by default.

Interactive Guidance

There are different interactive guidance features:

  • One-off Beacons: These blue icons will display until the user clicks them and views their content. They disappear after the user has viewed their content. Screenshot of One-off Beacons

  • Information Icon: When clicked, this opens a pop-up that contains text, a video, and a documentation link. Screenshot of Information Icon

  • Guide Me Button: When clicked, this guides the user through activities in a step-by-step manner. Screenshot of Guide Me Button

Help Centre

The Help Centre is accessed through the ? button in the top-right of the Altus browser. It is an interactive tool where you can ask a question, and it uses AI to provide an answer. The answers are based on our Altus documentation of the product.

Welcome Messaging

When users start Altus, a pop-up window will display showcasing new features.
