Home page configuration

Description

This feature allows the configuration of the Home Page tiles. You can create new tiles and links or modify the existing tiles.

Landing Page Configuration

• Display Name: Landing Page
• Name: landingPageConfiguration

From here you can add, hide, delete, rearrange or edit the existing Panels and Buttons on the Home Page.

Panel configuration:

Note

You are able to save this dialogue without filling in all the mandatory fields, but your tile won't display on the Home Page until they are completed.

Field	Description
Panel Id	Internal name for the panel. Please do not use spaces.
Title	Title for the panel.
Panel Type	Indicates whether the Panel is intended to display Area links (default), Quick Create buttons (as per the ones defined in the main configuration area of this setting) or Recent Items links.
Order	Sets the order in which the panel will appear. The default Altus tiles have been placed at intervals of 10.
Colour	The colour selector has the ability to toggle between RGB, HSL or HEX.
Image Url	Sets the icon image (url or base64 encoded string) that will appear in the panel.
Hide	This setting allows you to select to Hide an out of the box Panel.
Links	See below. Relevant only to Panel Type 'Area'.
Linked Entity	Relevant only to Panel Type 'Area'. Allows you to set the Entity that the Panel itself will link to, and will be used to determine access to the panel.
Recent Item Entities	See below. Relevant only to Panel Type 'Recent Items'.

Links ('Area' Panel Type)

Each link can be configured with the following properties:

Field	Description
Display Name	The display name for the link.
Navigate to Entity	If linking to an Entity/Table, select the Entity/Table that the link should go to.
View Id	If you have selected an Entity in 'Navigate to Entity', optionally select the View Id that you wish to navigate to.
Dependent Entity Name	Add an optional Entity/Table to determine if the user should see the link.
Web Resource Name	If linking to a Web Resource, provide the name of the Web Resource here. Note: If linking to a Web Resource, 'Navigate to Entity' must be left blank.
Security Roles	The link will be shown only to users who have any of the identified security roles.

Recent Item Entities ('Recent Item' Panel Type)

Identify here each entity that you want to be included in the Recent Items list. If no Recent Item Entities are provided, then all Entities will be included by default.

Field	Description
Entity Name	Identify the Entity/Table to include in Recent Items.
Hide	Allows you to hide an out of the box entity from being included in Recent Items.

Buttons

The Buttons configuration area of the main Landing Page (landingPageConfiguration) setting allows you to configure the Quick Create buttons that will appear within the Quick Create Panel. Note that if the Quick Create panel is configured to 'hide' then the buttons will not be shown anywhere.

Field	Definition
Display Name	The text that should appear on the button.
Navigate to Entity	Specify the Entity/Table that the button should link to (if the user has access).
Order	Identifies the order in which the buttons will appear.
Icon Url	The icon that should display on the button. This can be a Web Resource or absolute url.
Hide	Provides the ability to hide out of the box quick create buttons from the Quick Create panel.
Security Roles	If specified will only show the button to users with any of the identified security roles.
