Key Dates

Overview

Key dates are typically used for reporting milestones or events in a project's timeline that help to report on and track progress to ensure that the project in on schedule. Altus also extends this feature to both programs and portfolios.

Usage in Altus

Key Dates can be tracked in the following places in Altus:

Views

There are two types of views for Key Dates in Altus:

Project Wide Views: These views show all items within Altus Project.
Object Views: These filter items based on which portfolio, program, or project they belong to automatically.

Item Form

There are two types of items forms in Altus:

Quick Create: This is a simple version used to create the item.
Edit: Provides a full browser width version containing all fields and features.
